We already know the market you are selling into
Purlear sits in western Wilkes County off US 421, between Millers Creek and the climb toward Deep Gap, with Rendezvous Mountain State Park at the top of the road and Purlear Creek running off its west flank. Millers Creek is about six minutes, Wilkesboro about fifteen, North Wilkesboro about twenty, and Boone about forty up 421.
Out here the problem is not competition, it is being findable at all. There are small farms throughout the community, and the NC Cooperative Extension’s Wilkes farm directory lists 23 farms countywide with not one of them out this way. The Wilkes Chamber’s contractor directory lists 47 businesses and exactly one has a Purlear address. The NC Forest Service’s list of timber buyers in the county names 32 companies, one of them from Purlear. There are far more businesses here than that. They just do not exist on a phone screen.

What does it cost to work with you?
There are three monthly plans. They all cover the ongoing Google Business Profile work, the local SEO and the reporting, and they differ by how many new pages or articles you get each month: three, six or twelve. A website is a separate one time build and hosting is a small monthly add on. There is no contract and no setup fee that appears later. The plans page has the exact numbers.
How long before I see anything change?
Google Business Profile work usually shows movement in the first 30 to 60 days because the profile is the fastest thing to influence. Ranking for competitive local terms takes longer, often 3 to 6 months, and it depends on how many businesses in your town are already doing the work. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is selling you something.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. It is month to month. Cancel any month and the work stops at the end of that month. The reason we can do that is that the work is designed to keep paying off even if you leave, because everything is built in accounts you own.
Who owns my Google profile and my website?
You do, always. We work inside your Google account and your hosting, and you stay the owner on both. Some agencies create the profile under their own account and that becomes leverage later. We do not do that, and you can check it yourself at any time.
Do you only work with businesses in Wilkes County?
No. Most of our clients are within about an hour of Purlear, in Wilkes, Watauga, Ashe and Avery counties, and that is where the local knowledge is sharpest. We also take on clients anywhere in the United States, and the work is the same.
My business has no storefront. Can I still rank on Google Maps?
Yes. That is called a service area business and it is how a lot of trades, contractors and consultants operate, including us. My Google profile got suspended. Can you fix it?
Usually. Suspensions come from a handful of causes, most often an address problem, a business name that includes keywords it should not, or a category that does not match what you actually do. We find the cause, correct it and file the reinstatement. It is not instant and it is not guaranteed by anyone, but most are recoverable.
Do I need a new website, or can you work with the one I have?
Either. If your current site loads fast, works on a phone and can be edited, we will work with it and spend your money on visibility instead. If it is slow, hard to edit or built on something you cannot get into, replacing it is usually cheaper than fighting it.
What is AI search optimization and does it matter yet?
People increasingly ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews for a recommendation instead of scrolling a list. Those answers are assembled from sources the model trusts, which means your business can be named or left out. It is early, which is exactly why it is cheap to get ahead on right now.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to your Google Business Profile, your website and your domain, and about twenty minutes to tell me what you sell and which towns you want the work from. That is it. If you cannot find your logins, finding them is part of the first week.
